Oil & Natural Gas 6 Miles of 20” Steel / 14 Miles of 24” Hdpe Waterline

With water being a necessary commodity during the natural gas extraction process, the need for cheap, accessible water to the well pads is critical. When our customer asked for a solution to provide water from the Ohio River and transport it 20 miles inland to various well pads, IKPS and its sister company, ŮѵӪ Industrial, came together to tackle the project. As the primary contractor, IKPS worked closely with the customer during the initial design and planning phase, then constructed the new waterline. In addition, IKPS contracted ŮѵӪ Industrial to complete the construction and commissioning of the Ohio River Intake Structure and Booster Station along the waterline. This project is an example of the unlimited resources that IKPS as part of ŮѵӪ, Inc.
