Industrial Maintenance RAILROAD SPUR FOR COKE TRANSFER

McGraw Å®ÓÅÒùÍÞÅàѵӪ was contracted to modify and install a rail system for the transportation of coke in an operating facility.

The final stage of the coke transfer process efficiently moves materials between the metallurgical coke plant to the operating blast furnace.

The project involved excavation and grading for 16,200 feet of new sub-base, rail and ballast, removing 6,300 linear feet of existing rail, erection of a new rail car clean out station and excavation of a new retention pond.
